  1. Rand Paul got huge coverage on C-SPAN and through Twitter. Conservatives have to reach the people through unorthodox media. The NYT buried his story and CNN gave no coverage at all. The orthodox media needs to become obsolete. They will die by their own hands.

    • I tried to follow both Twitter and C-SPAN and it was awesome. It was almost surreal watching so many self-identified liberals come out in support of Rand Paul’s position on drone strikes in the US. Finally…a constitutional issue both sides can unite around.

      The AP begrudgingly issued a tweet late into the filibuster, but the story was more about stopping Brennan’s nomination and nothing about drone strikes on American soil. You are right about the old guard media. They are obsolete. Hopefully they will soon go the way of the dodo bird and make way for a new breed of journalism.
