How fast are they going to drive through the streets of DC to have Skeeter leave WRMC at 4:10 and be back at the WH at 4:25?

Simple.. Marine One. WRNMMC has a helo pad within short walking distance of the main entrance.

You are probably correct….it’s not his money that is being used to fire up at least 2 copters to take him the 6-8 miles from the WH to WRMC. I’m glad my travels today took me in the opposite direction than having to go into DC.

The people who live in DC are happy that he uses Marine One for this sort of thing. Otherwise, he ties up the roads for hours at a time. Two hours in advance and then during the trip to and from. Then they open them back up again. By then, everyone is furious and late for whatever they were going to.

It would truly be newsworthy if Sec of Def also went to WalterReed with the President. He should go.

When does this guy ever get any rest?

His briefing is later than normal, so must be sleeping in after a hard day of work

Come on – this is a full day for Barrack I Am not a Dictator Obama. Maybe the threat of cutting off his credit card calls for the illusion of work. And once again when on shaky ground use the military. The meeting between Hagel and Obama – hope there is a big DOD org chart on the wall.

Wow, a full day at 7-ish hours! Although, most hard-working Americans begin their days a LOT earlier than 10:15 am, ending it well after 5:30 or 6 pm. But, for Obummer, this will be a rare semi-busy day.

Interestingly, the advance schedule for the week simply said for Tuesday: “the President will attend meetings at the White House.” That’s usually code for doing little or nothing at all. Or sometimes, they do that when they don’t want to reveal what’s on the schedule until the last minute.

Well, after such a “busy” day tomorrow, the rest of the week looks awfully light:

On Wednesday, the President will welcome the BCS National Champion University of Alabama Crimson Tide to the White House to honor their 15th championship and their exceptional 2012-2013 season. The President will also continue his tradition of honoring sports teams for their efforts both on and off the field by recognizing the efforts by the Crimson Tide to give back to their community.

On Thursday and Friday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

On Saturday, the President will deliver remarks at the Gridiron Dinner at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC.

“Just once I’d like to see…staying at the office doing 8 hours worth of work!” – Island Girl

No you wouldn’t! Just imagine Obama sitting in a chair with the full might of the Presidency at his fingertips, and even MORE resentful than USUAL that he has to WORK when he could be thinking about his NCAA bracketry…

You know that when Prezzy gets resentful, we ALL gots to pay! Just imagine the onerous EPA regulation, extraconstitutional gun grab, or lethal taxation level with accompanying Republican blame that an extra-petulant Obama would devise if he were forced to sit at his desk like the juvenile deliquent schoolboy that he is at heart… Who knows, maybe he’d drone strike someone just out of spite for DARING to keep him from his good times!

No, keeping Prezzy from his “duties” is like keeping a bear from eating your children. I, for one, would expect us to get ahead if we COULD keep BOTH Obamas out on perpetual, separate vacations, even at the Michelle Antonette d@mn-the-expense-the-taxpayers-got-it price! PLEASE give Obama MORE shiny things to distract him, so maybe we could heal a little before the next outburst of liberal lunacy? please?

Can you say “PHOTO OP”?

So a whole 1.5 hours at walter R hospital, wow those wounded heroes should be honored that Potus should be so generous with his time, that’s the equivalent of almost 5 holes of golf. I wonder if Potus will order up a pizza delivered to the doors of his place the way Fotus did in Chicago. I bet Fotus refused to pay coz it was 35 mins after she ordered it. Did Fotus stay at her house in Chicago or drop another 200k on a hotel stay. Has Potus any idea the dark torment an amputee goes through when they realise that it happened to them and the support of Potus is only good for a photo op. Potus should be there when that vet thinks about what they’ve given up only to see Potus and Fotus behave like Jay Z, was it worth losing my leg for that? The hubris on display is unreal, time for Potus to stop looking after number one. The press have to bring him to account more than they are.

Obama meets with Hagel:
“Regarding Iran, Chuckie, repeat after me: We DO have a position on containment—which is we do not favor containment. Got it?”

You want him to “work”? What would that be? For a president of the old school, it would mean gathering the best minds to brainstorm and solve problems. It would mean asking his cabinet officers to submit ways of cutting costs without reaming our services and the American people. It would mean framing messages to reassure American business that this is a good place to be. Does this sound like it will happen?
