  1. Will Lurch Kerry be back from his mission of handing out our hard earned money to the Muslim Brotherhood in time for the yearly Cabinet meeting?

  2. Cabinet meeting? Ha. Can anyone name any other member of the Closet Crew besides Stick Face Kerry or Janet ” Jack” Napolitano..
    I can’t!

  3. Wow, another busy, busy day. What a schedule.

Actually, it seems his fugly mug will be on our televisions yet again tomorrow morning, because if it’s a weekday, this bozo has something to announce on live television:

    http://news.yahoo.com/obama-nominate-walmarts-burwell-white-house-budget-chief-005146876–business.html

President Barack Obama will nominate Walmart’s philanthropic head Sylvia Mathews Burwell on Monday to become director of the White House budget office, a White House official said on Sunday.

Burwell, 47, is a veteran of Bill Clinton’s White House and for the past year has been president of the Walmart Foundation at the corporation’s Bentonville, Arkansas, headquarters. The charity organization in 2011 gave out nearly $1 billion in corporate contributions to projects around the world such as fighting hunger and empowering women.

Burwell, who is originally from West Virginia, would replace Jeffrey Zients, who has been serving as acting director at the White House Office of Management and Budget, known by the acronym OMB.

Obama is set to announce Burwell’s nomination at 10:15 a.m. EST/1515 GMT on Monday, the White House official said, adding that Burwell had a proven record as a problem solver and consensus builder. The job requires Senate confirmation.

“Burwell’s deep knowledge of budget and economic issues along with her record of fighting for working Americans make her the perfect choice to lead the OMB at this important time,” the White House official said.

Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama, the senior Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, said he would “fairly and thoughtfully review” Obama’s choice of Burwell. The panel, led by Democratic Senator Patty Murray, will oversee the nomination.

“The director must lead an effort to make government leaner and more efficient and must be committed to providing honest and accurate information on the dangerous financial condition of our country,” Sessions told Reuters in a statement.

Mike Duke, president and chief executive of Wal-Mart, congratulated Burwell on her nomination, describing her as “a strong leader who both masters the details and has a clear vision for making big thing happen.”

The move will reunite her with another Clinton White House veteran, Jack Lew, who was Clinton’s OMB director for a time and was recently confirmed as Obama’s treasury secretary…..

    • Walmart gave away “nearly a billion dollars” to fight hunger and empower women around the world; why didn’t they just give the women who work for them a raise and a promotion?

      • srdem65 – I wonder if it has to do with the possibility if the money was used to give raises it would negatively impact Walmart’s margins, but if they give it away, the charitable deduction improves the bottom line?

    • Yeah, nothing says economy and job building like corporate philanthropy. Given that the definition of Obama WH is giving away taxpayers money on entitlements and pet projects that have nothing to do with jobs she should fit in well. And oh yeah, she can probably liaise with OFA on corporate fundraising in exchange for meeting with Barack I Am Not A Dictator, Mr. Transparency Obama.

Also a Cabinet meeting may not be in Obama’s best interest. If the cabinet shares “their” sequestration plans and strategy then he loses the deniability that he used with the illegal ,illegal alien criminal
release into American neighborhoods not to mention the I know nothing about Benghazi gambit. No, meetings with cabinet officials and bureaucrats does not bode well for Mr, Don’t Blame Me.

    • Dripping with irony! An Obama budget director formerly employed by the anti-union behemoth Walmart whose primary job is to give away $$$..a match made in heaven!

  4. Wow. A cabinet meeting. At the White House. huh.

If this meeting is to determine how each department can best reduce their spending because of the sequestration mandate, they best tread carefully. Any other stupid move like releasing criminally-charged illegal aliens to scare the public, or cuts to critical services will be seen as vindictive.

  5. Hmmm looks like a big dark cloud will be circling the WH when they all get together and whine about the big bad Republicans. Everyone please fasten your seat belts it could be a bumpy ride tomorrow from the MSM.

I see their meeting is after Blarney’s briefing, guess no lunch for them.

Obama Threat Condition for Monday will remain a 3. The only way will bump it up is if he holds a WH Press Conf announcing he has had to cut MO as FLOTUS, and her funding will be diverted to WH recreational activities.

  6. Another big day for the Bum in charge could we please put this up every day in times square so America knows how lazy this jerk is

  7. maybe we will see a real life action today of the new movie Olympic has fallen would not be surprised we are headed that way very very soon under the ruling of the all powerful OZ

  8. Sorry about not getting the travel cost posted on Friday. Had a busy weekend with friends eating homemade polenta and I totally spaced that Friday started a new month.

Here are the totals for February 2013, YTD, and a comparison to 2012.

Total miles traveled on AF1 for February 2013 = 6523
    (6,523/550 mph)*$181,757 p/hr for AF1 = $2,155,638
    Total miles February 2012 = 7584 13.9% decrease

    YTD miles traveled 2013 – 20,263 miles
    (20,263/550 mph)*$181,757 p/hr for AF1 = $6,696,258

    2012 YTD miles = 15,722 28.9% increase

Travel costs are based on AF1 only, and dollar amounts are based on those reported in USAToday and UK Mail, 2010. Distance is based on major airport to major airport, and cost does not include support aircraft, ground transportation, lodgings, meals, or other expenses.
**I hope I calculated the percentages correctly, I never was a math student**

  9. Up at the crack of noon again today I see. Someone possited on the radio this morning that The One is still drinking and gets hammered every night. That’s why He can’t seem to get out of bed and into a routine like the rest of working America. (notice I didn’t say Americans). It’s good to be King Obongo. Illegal alien relatives about and go about their business of sucking off the teat of actual tax paying Americans. A multimillion $$ vacation (sometimes separate from The Beard) every few weeks. Golf, parties, TV appearances, drooling syncophants and Obamabots. Yes. It’s good to be King.

  10. Did anyone else see 60 Minutes on how the Chinese are building these huge modern cities no one can afford to live in? Talk about a bubble! It was eerie, really weird–they are loaning us money, how are people ever going to be able to move into these things…really it’s worth watching…it really disturbs me…Yes, I know they are sort of an enemy, but our wellbeing is tied to theirs in some ways.
