  1. I read the story about sequester, and I offer up an idea to the GOP members in both chambers. A GOP member needs to step forward and challenge the other members of their respective chambers to forgo any pay for the next year. If they want to protect those that are not in the “1%” group, make it so that anyone with a net worth of over $500,000 would be challenged to return their federal paycheck.

If every member of the House and Senate turned back what they got paid it would save the government approx. $90million for one year. If you exclude the approx. 190 members that have a net worth of less than $500K, it would still save approx. $60million.

Then challenge the President to do the same, and return his $400K p/yr salary to the Treasury.

Granted, this would be looked at as a “political stunt” but it would demonstrate to many Americans that those we have hired to SERVE us are willing to take a hit just like the rest of us have. It would also show the voting public who really thinks about and cares about the rest of the country.

I know there is no one in the GOP with the balls to make this challenge, but G-d it would make for some great political theater.

  2. Regarding the Washington Time story.

Obama was the one that pushed for the sequester idea last year, and now he is trying to make this a GOP problem. I offer up an idea to the GOP members in both chambers. A GOP member needs to step forward and challenge the other members of their respective chambers to forgo any pay for the next year. If they want to protect those that are not in the “1%” group, make it so that anyone with a net worth of over $500,000 would be challenged to return their federal paycheck.

  3. “Obama to pressure GOP on sequester . . .”

So he going to put on another show today with emergency responders as his backdrop? Never mind the sequester was his idea in the first place. Rush Limbaugh has Preezy Revenge pretty well figured out. Low information voters only see him campaigning against this dysfunctional behemoth government. He’s never seen as responsible for turning this country into a third world cesspool, because he’s always campaigning against his own creation.

“No matter what is said, no matter what evidence happens, no matter what’s reported, it will not be possible to connect Obama to the negativity that’s happening in the country today because he’s campaigning against it himself. This is what you and I are gonna have to learn and learn fast.” -Rush

  4. The WhiteHouse press corps won’t be getting any sympathy from the public who considers them part of the MSM boot-licking, Obama-adorers who only report on what the WhiteHouse tells them. While some have equated them with the paparazzi, it’s a totally unfair comparison; paparazzi do everything and anything to get the news and report the truth.

The “leaked” WhiteHouse immigration bill did everything it was supposed to do; it gave the Hispanic agitators and the business community a heads-up that any new act will give illegal aliens instant amnesty from deportation.
Illegal aliens from south of our border are not interested in American citizenship. Their goal is to earn money to send back to their hometown, to get as many freebies as possible while they’re here, and to avoid deportation.

MrsObama took time to interrupt her taxpayer-funded vacation at an excusive ski resort to Skype an interview with a popular TV personality who cooks food, and in the most shallow and idiotic conversation reveals why she had bangs added to her hairdo. The Associated Press, once a respected news organization, dutifully reported on this event because, well, just because.

  5. The rabble-rouser-in-chief is back in action! After spending an idyllic week-end and millions of taxpayer $$$ with Reggie and Tiger, he takes to the national TV audience for another round of GOP bashing. It’s time for Boehner and the rest of the gang to start a class action suit against this derelict POTUS for harassment! Enough is enough!

Meanwhile, Hillary announces her multi-million $$$ ‘what difference does it make’ speechifying tour, All of this and neither Hillary or Obama can explain why they both refused to answer the 5:00 p.m. phone call from Benghazi.,

Last, but not least, .the jet-setting, Olympic skier-in-training returns to Planet Hollywood to discuss with Rachel Ray her reason for changing her hairstyle/aka wighat. It’s a mid-life crisis – she can’t have a jazzy sports car or go bungee-jumping….so she’s opting for bangs!

Stop the world, I want to get off!!!

  6. Oh dang, a interesting news story –

“Did Obama supporter vote 6 times in 2012? Ohio poll worker target of investigation??”

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/02/19/ohio-poll-worker-obama-supporter-investigated-for-potentially-voting-six-times/

And more than one person too is caught up in the investigation. About time, hope they hammer them. Funny they did it with live peoples names, and admitted they did it. Voter Fraud?? naaaa, never happens according to DOJ / Holder.
