MrCarney might want to throw back a shot of fortitude for the press briefing tomorrow. He’s sure to be grilled on the golfing blackout and the lack of press access to the President as was the custom.
Of course, since none of the press corps that follows the President had thought about gaining admittance to the resort on their own like the Golf Digest guy did, they really can’t protest too much.

The stealth (p)resident goes to extreme measures to make sure sure his footprints are nowhere to be found No one has a clue as to what this guy does before or after his sporadic 30 minute briefings. The WHPC should be replaced with a monitored GPS ankle bracelet and a bugging device to track his comings and goings.

“The way the president’s availability to the press has shrunk in the last two years is a disgrace,” said ABC News White House reporter Ann Compton, who has covered every president back to Gerald R. Ford. “The president’s day-to-day policy development — on immigration, on guns — is almost totally opaque to the reporters trying to do a responsible job of covering it. There are no readouts from big meetings he has with people from the outside, and many of them aren’t even on his schedule. This is different from every president I covered. This White House goes to extreme lengths to keep the press away.”

Why golf? God only knows what these delusional idiots get up to behind
closed doors in the middle of the night. So golf with a philandering golfer is
what gets their panties in a bunch. Pick your battles carefully and this isn’t a
a big red flag those the press continues to ignore. Benghazi ring a bell.
