As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

White House Dossier Ranked #10 Among U.S. Political Blogs

As the year comes to a close, I just wanted to thank all of you for the success White House Dossier has had in the two and a half years since I launched it in May of 2010.

According to the leading blog directory – Technorati, which ranks blogs according to their standing and influence – White House Dossier tonight sits at number ten on the list of U.S. political blogs. Others in the top ten include major players like The Huffington Post, CNN Political Ticker, The Blaze and Daily Kos. It’s pretty good company.

It’s of course a cliché when someone says, “I couldn’t have done it without others.” But really, what is a website without its readers? Nothing but an exercise in glorious self-indulgence.

Many of you are extremely loyal, even as you disagree with me from time to time, and many have been with the website almost since the beginning.

So to all of you, the veterans, the new readers, and even those who just check in occasionally, thank you for helping make White House Dossier a success.

My best wishes to all of you during the holiday season. I’m looking forward to spending another great year with you carrying out journalism’s essential mission: Holding government accountable.

Keith

  1. This is AWESOME. It would be dandy if you could get other folks in the press briefing room to hold government accountable, too. Think that’s possible?

  2. Congrats to you! Awesome accomplishment. That is just fantastic!! What a nice Christmas present. So glad I came across WHD on Drudge. Good thing you posted your pix on the blog, as I recognized you in the “crowd” of CPAC 2012.

  3. Congrats on the honor bestowed. You’re up there with some heavy hitters in the political world, good job.

And thank you , MrKoffler, for giving us some inside glimpses of the inner WhiteHouse that we wouldn’t see anywhere else.
Another thank you to those whose comments on current affairs have been interesting, informative, and sometimes hilariously snarky.

  4. I am kvelling! I feel like I personally discovered you, Keith, so I’m doubly pleased to hear about this honor.

keep up the good work…we need you more than ever now.

  5. Well done, Keith! Your blog is a breath of fresh air. I appreciate the honesty here. Thank you for providing a place for us to congregate and have discussions. You’ve attracted some thoughtful readers and I also enjoy reading their comments.

  6. HuffPo and Daily Kos. . .I guess they have to make sure all political agendas are represented. . .thanks Keith for always keeping us informed and sharing with us your insightful perspective. . .keep up the great work; we appreciate your efforts! Happy Holidays to you and your family and look forward to many more terrific posts in the New Year.

  7. Congratulations. What I like best is your satirical side, and you’re far above those others you mentioned. They’re dullards in comparison.

  8. Congratulations – I totally agree except I would have moved you up 9 spots.

Is it true that the Daily Kos is ceasing operations due to their collective heads exploding because they were one spot behind Glenn Beck and his team at The Blaze?

  9. You are a national treasure, Keith….congratulations!!! Your unique style of humor/satire is unparalleled – as well as highly informative. WHD is a great start in the morning, along with the wonderful comments from your politically informed readers.. Delicious snark, too!

Thanks for keeping us sane over the past year Keith, and have a wonderful New Year!

  10. Congratulations Keith, so well deserved ! You are of course a great writer but you also have that special, nice personal touch. I had no access to this blog for some time because of some incomprehensible, technical computer thing but Keith helped me with that. What a guy ! Again thank you for that. So, even if many of us are still depressed after the reelection we can at least look forward to having the gloomy news served in this great blog.

  11. Congrats my friend! Mom must be so proud! And with the Os still in office, you should be able to be in the top five by this time next year.

The Obamas, the “gift” that keeps on giving. Hmmm, kinda like herpes.

  12. Congratulations! You so deserve it.
I stop by here several times a day to get a dose of truth….even though it might be hard to hear.
    Keep up the good fight.
God bless you and your family.

  13. Congratulations, Keith. Your blog is one of the few I visit every single day, for good reasons – excellent articles, intelligent and polite posters, and your insight into the political machinations in Washington. Thanks for all you do.

  14. Congratulations, Keith. Well deserved recognition of your wit and honesty in reporting. Thank you for giving us a welcoming place to express our opinions on the issues of the day.

  15. Congratulations Mr. Koffler. I wasn’t sure when you started but I think I found you in your early days and have enjoyed reading your blog daily since then. I often pass your articles on to my friends to help enlighten and educate them.

As a side note, to quote our fearless leader (sarc), “you didn’t build that”! You my friend are a perfect example that contradicts his words.

  16. Fantastic, Keith. Congratulations.

While it would have been interesting to follow this site as it commented on a Romney presidency, we have another 4 (miserable) years to benefit from your careful analysis of the goon we’ve had for the last 4 (miserable) years. Should be interesting.

Moreover the congratulations, THANKS for the work you put into this product.

  17. Awesome!

Since “finding” this sight, it has become a daily stop. I so appreciate your insight and honesty. Kudos to many of the responders here. I have absorbed many delightful posts full of wisdom. I look forward to even more in the days to come.

May your cup runneth over with blessings in 2013.
