Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

by Keith Koffler on November 21, 2012, 12:13 pm

Updated Nov. 23 at 10:39 am ET

I want to wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving.

One of the things I truly have to be thankful for is you, my readers from whom I learn so much and who support this website. Thank you for reading and being a part of this effort to provide accountability for a White House that doesn’t get enough of it from the mainstream media.

There’s much work to be done, isn’t there?

I will be posting a little less often from today through Sunday – perhaps once per day – as I spend some extra time with my family. I hope that the holiday is a happy one for you.

Warmly,

Keith

UPDATE: Thank you all for the very kind comments. I hope you are enjoying the holiday, and I will be back full time on Monday.

And thanks to you. Happy Thanksgiving! Will be building a fire ring in the back yard with my 3 sons this long weekend. Creating shovel-ready jobs for 3 young men in the “Green Energy” sector for less than 500 million dollars. How great is that!?

That depends. What’s Obama’s cut?

Happy Thanksgiving, QA, Keith, and all my fellow Obama Dyspeptics. Put this in the rearview mirror, for now, and just thank God for all that He does for us – and know that it’s His plan that will prevail.

This and real clear have become the best objective news sources around, so good job done and I would have much prefered your election prediction as we are in for a hard next five years. Sadly the aggrieved have not noticed but the world economy frees those evil capitalists to invest where they have the best options and sadly due to to taxes and regulation we are not open for business. Thanks,

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Keith, and all other readers of WHD.

Though there are definitely areas of contention and issues to bemoan, I think if we really put things in perspective, there is still much to be thankful for.

Live with an attitude of gratitude, not just for one day, but every day. That does not mean that you don’t fight the good fight, but you find those things in your life you can be thankful for and keep your attitude positive. I am immensely blessed and pray the pouring out of blessing upon each and everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving!

As long as the rest of the saying does not come true for awhile, agreed.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow travelers on WHD, your insights, comments and humor always make my day. Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, too, Keith! And to all the wonderful readers/commenters on WHD! This blog has been a life-saver over the past couple of years…and no doubt will continue to be for the next 4 years. I don’t think I have ever looked forward to Thanksgiving as much as I do this year – family/friends is truly what life is all about. It’s time to count our blessings!

Happy Thanksgiving Keith and all my fellow WHD readers. Keith, I’m so thankful for this site, your reporting, and the commentary you and everyone here has provided over these last few years. The next four years will seem even longer than the last four, but I’m thankful for the information and outlet this site provides.

I almost forgot – Keith, I really appreciated your “Obamagram” in my email inbox this morning! It cheered me up a bit and gave me some hope. Thank you once again!

Enjoy your family and friends this weekend, everyone! Thankfully, we still live in the best country in existence and we WILL have better days ahead.

Your site is the first thing I read each morning. Good, unbiased, no-BS reporting and commentary, keep up the good work.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, Keith, and to all you wonderful people here at WHD.
There is much work to be done these coming years, so very true. I am still heartbroken after the election. I am “politically depressed”. There was so much hope and a longing for real change and it all ended with … a fizzle.
Oh well, may his road be rocky and full of thorns. You can help with that, Keith.

Star November 22, 2012 at 12:00 pm

You have it bad? :-) I DREAMED about you know who last night–and remembered it!! I was telling him everywhere he went wrong and he was completely indifferent.

Swedishlady November 22, 2012 at 12:33 pm

Star, I can imagine living in the US and being Obamabombarded day and night. No wonder you have nightmares. I do hope that you will forget about it all during Thanksgiving and that you and your family will have a wonderful one. We don´t celebrate Thanksgiving over here, we can only look forward to Christmas.

I guess you could still be a T-day of one… I read a review of a new book by Annie Lamott–I think–who said she had boiled prayers down to HELP HELP HELP and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU and an occasional WOW! I guess the latter was not boilable–just the wonder of life.

I woke up this morning and thought, “Four more years of hearing about Obama and Michelle Antoinette. I resent having four more years of my life lived in this cloud of verbage.”

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We all can find something to be grateful for starting with being Americans and still free.

OK: back to business
Thanks to our friend across the ocean who keep tabs on what our President is doing, we have this gem:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2236656/Thanksgiving-2012-Obamas-return-DC-food-bank-hand-bags-healthy-treats.html

The O’s and some in-laws passed out “free” food to the needy as if they had donated the foodstuffs themselves. The President obviously doesn’t see the hypocrisy of a multi-millionaire who has been steering 50million Americans into poverty and food stamps taking credit for doing a good deed.
And, of course, they were “healthy” foods, except for the WhiteHouse M & M’s that the rest of us paid for.
