The Original November 14, 2012 at 9:59 am

It will be filled with babbling lies and a lot of “uh, uhs”. Won’t waste my time. Sorry that you have to listen, Keith.

Otis Driftwood November 14, 2012 at 10:19 am

Keith, if you got to ask 1 question at the conference to Mr O, what would it be?

Unfortunately I feel we will just see the Foggy Bottom Two Step today from both sides of the conference.

Was also good to see the Senate is back in session handling a tough first vote of the season – Polar Bear Carcasses.

scottso November 14, 2012 at 11:10 am

What is the over / under on actual number of questions taken?
What is the over / under on questions about Benghanzi?

I say 4 questions in total. 1 question about Benghanzi as it relates to Petraeus.

srdem65 November 14, 2012 at 11:32 am

A box of stale donuts that he doesn’t show until 1:42.

Kimbly November 14, 2012 at 1:18 pm

I have a feeling he is using this as a set up to blame not only Benghazi but the entire Afghanistan war fiasco on Petraeus. The CNN headlines were starting tie the sex “scandal” with decisions made in the war. How very convenient for Obama.

scottso November 14, 2012 at 6:35 pm

I have a feeling he knows that if he doesn’t answer any questions and no one testifies then nothing is going to happen. Even if any one does testify we are not going to know what happened.

eventually we will become bored and move on to the next crisis/event/happening/war/etc.

Girly1 November 14, 2012 at 10:25 am

First question: Are you worried about the upcoming sworn testimony of General Petraeus?

Star November 14, 2012 at 10:43 am

Ths usual 1500-word salad …
answers…Investigation…investigating…justice…service to our nation…let me be clear…make no mistake…American people want me to do…this, that….compromise…work together to make my way come true…

Sadie November 14, 2012 at 11:53 am

1500-word salad … the Arugala-Caligula Special?

ol gator November 14, 2012 at 12:33 pm

Dont forget the sliced bitter melon !

Star November 14, 2012 at 1:41 pm

Baloney on the side.

drk November 14, 2012 at 10:35 am

Will this be the one where the press demands answers on Benghazi? Or will the MSM demand to know if the Obamas will have cranberry sauce with their turkey?

ArnoldLayne November 14, 2012 at 10:43 am

Why isn’t it in prime time this evening?

QueenOfScott November 14, 2012 at 10:50 am

Because Wednesday night is “Sons of Guns” and “Ghost Hunters” night, and no one would be watching Obama.

MichelleIndependent November 14, 2012 at 11:36 am

Emperor Caligula will blather on and say nothing.
Farce, farce, farce.

Jeff November 14, 2012 at 11:41 am

Are they going to be all softballs Kieth or are they going to make it real easy for him and set up a t? I see McCain and Graham are pre-empting him with calls for Benghazi hearings by special committee..
No teleprompter can save him so I expect nothing but lies and bullshit from obumbler

blondie November 14, 2012 at 11:45 am

“Nobody wants to get to the bottom of this more than me”,I believe is the standard line, yet no answers. Lets ee if after the initial dodging of quesrions asked,if anyone does follow up.

Star November 14, 2012 at 1:41 pm

I, I, I, me, me, me, and more of I, I, me, me.
I’d like to watch but I’m not fond of reruns, besides, I have to wash my hair.

srdem65 November 14, 2012 at 11:48 am

Oh my, the Israelis have struck back. It starts.

Susan November 14, 2012 at 12:05 pm

God have mercy on us all…

Langley Spook November 14, 2012 at 2:11 pm

How to you say: “Unleash Hell” in Hebrew?

AFVET November 14, 2012 at 2:24 pm

I don’t know how you say that, but, Shakespeare once said:
“Cry Havoc, and Loose the Dogs of War.”

gracepmc November 14, 2012 at 6:37 pm

If I may, one further comment on Susan Rice and her suitability as Secretary of State. In keeping with Mr. Revenge’s foreign policy, she is profoundly and consistently anti Israel.

Girly1 November 14, 2012 at 12:10 pm

Does Neil Munro of the Daily Caller still have his WH press credentials??? He should have a medal for bravery! As I recall, he is the only member of the WH Press Corpse who had the guts to interrupt Obama in the middle of a TOTUS speech. Knowing full well that Obama nevet answers questions from reporters, he had the cajones to put him on the hot seat in the Rose Garden for adding 2M Dreamers to the already devastated unemployment numbers – a traitorous act to buy more votes.

Who cares if the press corpse starts playing hardball with this fraud now that the barn door has been slammed shut! Obama has just given America the bird by elevating Valjar,Rice, and Holder to the exalted position of gatekeepers while he prepares to travel to exotic lands on his final victory tour.

Quintis Arrius November 14, 2012 at 1:02 pm

Agree. the only way the “Press” is going to realize they bet on the wrong horse over the wisdom of the masses is to see how future advertizing revenues comes in. Qurky sign, I know, but advertising revenue is how they get paid. Let’s see how the Super Bowl advertizing dollars come in. My suspicion is that it will be slow to fill up and come in less than last year.
Just a Thought. Maybe we will see more “Union Label” and Go Daddy “Rent a OWS protester” commerials.

KmB November 14, 2012 at 12:57 pm

Maybe the administration flew in ‘The Pimp with a Limp’ to start things off. Followed by the editor of People, Tiger Beat and the always hard hitting journalistic pros that they are, TMZ.

JustSaying12 November 14, 2012 at 12:58 pm

I would ask beyond the whole Peterarus scandal, what are his thoughts about some in his own party saying that $250,000 is not the number to start with in terms of perhaps raising income taxes and he is willing to bend on that number since he never did once on the campaign. I also ask that now since the election is over will he actually talk about the raise in household goods IE food that will take place over the next year due to last year’s drought and is a tax on everyone.

JustSaying12 November 14, 2012 at 1:22 pm
scottso November 14, 2012 at 1:47 pm

How does cutting the tax cuts to the top 2% increase tax revenues by $1 trillion?
Is that over 12 years??

Star November 14, 2012 at 1:50 pm

We get–you said it all three times–you think the people voted to tax rich people more…Just bec they voted for you doesn’t mean they want what you are offering–do your liberal buds want Gitmo open? Do they want car check abandoned? Well, maybe the majority of people who for some reason wanted you back in did not want taxes raised on their boss, why then might lay them off.

Just2old November 14, 2012 at 2:04 pm

Won’t comment….trying to save Rice after having her carry his lying water for him…outrageous….won’t work lying man

Just2old November 14, 2012 at 2:06 pm

having 4 americans killed is a “problem”….no, that’s a tradegy

gracepmc November 14, 2012 at 2:27 pm

I thought they were “bumps in the road”.

scottso November 14, 2012 at 2:31 pm

He said that Rice went on shows and reiterated what she was told.
So WHO told her that it was just about a video? Who DIDN”T tell her about the intelligence received 4 days earlier that it wasn’t about a video?

gracepmc November 14, 2012 at 2:55 pm

He also told Lindsey Graham and John McCain to come after him and not Rice. Graham responded that he absolutely intended to do that. Works for me. On this one, I am behind Graham 100%.
Mr. Revenge is a blowhard wanna be bully backed up by his Chi-town gang and the propagandists and an unchecked 2nd term. Take a look around, anybody see America?

Anonna November 14, 2012 at 2:56 pm

Makes it look as if he is her knight in shining honor — personalize it.

She’s a company man, so to speak, and shilled the shite when asked to do so by BO. Now he’s her big-muscled defender. He must feel himself well protected to invite attack by McCain, etc. The smoke must be already so thick that he knows they won’t find her.

Dori Smith November 14, 2012 at 2:06 pm

In my household we listened well when you spoke about families with elderly or disabled parents. Mom died last week, my stepdad continues on now without him but he must also deal with a predatory lender, Citimortgage.
We tried the modification program HAMP but the bank was deceptive and manipulative, to the point of outright fraud.

We would like to see you offer a similar program to homeowners that would allow modifications or refinance with other lenders such as smaller banks that are more local. If my folks had accurate, professional loan servicing, within all of the rules and laws set up by the state and federal banking administrations, they would have paid off their loan by now. Instead the bank defrauded them into staying in an 11% loan. Thus, their loan that began at 89K in 1989 has a payoff today of roughly the same amount.

Can’t we do better to help American homeowners? Citimortgage staff said they would offer my folks a write down of principle. They tricked them out of a write down, lied about accepting trial loan payments, and claimed that despite their promises, the loan is owned by an “investor” who makes all of the decisions.

What happened? Can HAMP be fixed? Can we apply benefits that would have gone to Citimortgage to a new lender to fix my parent’s loan?

Can you help us?
Thanks, frustrated in Connecticut

I cannot believe he said he was not re-elected JUST to BASK in re-election. I doubt anyone voted for him to do that. He really does view his job and role as being a celebrity.

Also, why does he not know what the FBI protocols for reporting investigations to him actually are? I heard his comment as stating he does not know what the protocols are.

Chas November 14, 2012 at 2:31 pm

Keith, is Jay Carney just offstage giving Barry the “stretch it” sign?
Talk about long winded answers, and a whole lot ot repeating going on here.

Star November 14, 2012 at 2:39 pm

No kidding–over and over, “what I am not going to do…” as if he were a person with principles.

Jeff1000 November 14, 2012 at 2:33 pm

Why not, Mr. Obama, extend the Bush tax rates for everyone and haggle later over the so-called wealthy who are paying even more than their own fair share? Why be willing to hurt any American–meaning the wealthy who are already paying their fair share and more, and businesses–especially since it will result in the loss of 700,000 jobs and have a meaningless effect on the deficit? Class warfare is no solution.

Langley Spook November 14, 2012 at 2:46 pm

Was this a waste of time like I figured it would be?
Any REAL questions asked, or “answered”?

Jordan November 14, 2012 at 2:50 pm

Uh….uh……uh….I can’t believe we re-elected this guy….

Susan November 14, 2012 at 3:09 pm

We didn’t re-elect him. The revengeful left and the sunshine patriots who either sat at home or voted third party did that for us.

gracepmc November 14, 2012 at 2:50 pm

A thought. Big smokescreen in US re. CIA and military — kind of like our own military “purge”. Supported and promoted by the Ministry of Propaganda. CIA and FBI very busy digging through personal emails. Homeland and DOD–well, DOD in Australia partying with Hillary. Homeland, frisking old people and babies at the airport. Meanwhile Israel takes out Hamas leader. Mr. Revenge too busy celebrating his mandate and punishing the “enemy” he told the Hispanics about in Miami last year. Al Quaeda, the Taliban and Iran must be very amused and I assume, busy. Meanwhile, Israel goes it alone. At least they stand up and fight.

cincycinco November 14, 2012 at 2:53 pm

Y’know, if this guy knew anything about business, he’d know that employees behavior tends to reflect that of the management of their company.

If the bosses are known to cheat, lie, embezzle, and steal office supplies, their employees are very likely to do the same. If the bosses are known as upright and intolerant of misbehavior, and swift to discipline and fire those that step over the clearly drawn lines, employees are much more likely to behave well, at least at and when representing the company.

Now, we have the Secret Service going whoring (and underpaying!), the CIA chief screwing around, the GSA having wild Vegas blowouts, and creepy FBI agents sending unsolicited shirtless photos to a woman who’s ALREADY receiving frightening E-mails, which is why he’s in contact with her in the FIRST place!

These are organizations we don’t normally hear that kind of behavior from. The only thing they have in common is their boss.

Do you suppose the fish is rotting from the head?

mo1 November 14, 2012 at 3:36 pm

But our culture condones and excuses, indeed invites, such behavior. Think about all the TV programs that focus on the CIA, FBI, military, medical profession, legal profession, etc. In virtually all of those programs, there are many “heroes” who ultimately fail by drinking too much, doing drugs, gambling too much, etc. And yet they remain heroes. We are teaching everyone that misconduct is acceptable. We are teaching everyone that you are dumb to aspire to be better.

Anonna November 14, 2012 at 2:54 pm

Why didn’t anyone ask him why it’s been eight months since his last election?

Eight months — and now he takes eight questions.

Otis Driftwood November 14, 2012 at 3:14 pm

8 months.. 8 questions. Sounds like a quota, Press Corps allowed 1 question per month, allowed to accrue monthly if there is not a “Official” Press Conference. Oh and please do not go out of turn, it messes up my pre-written queue cards or TOTUS.

Poor TOTUS, didn’t get the vacation it was hoping for.

I was right, Foggy Bottom Two Step.

Andy from Beaverton November 14, 2012 at 3:15 pm

“I know the math very well, it’s not calculus” or something close to that.
BA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA !

What kind of math doesn’t count the interest on the debt like Obama tried to tell us a year ago? Carney tried to reexplain this and the press just laughed at him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_mXP7SNJ-Q

BTW, I swear that Jay Carney must be related to Art Carney.

Bill Tsafa November 14, 2012 at 4:12 pm

The purpose of the Second Amendment is so people can protect themselves from future government tyranny. They need the tools to do this!

The term “Well Regulated” in the Second Amendment meant “Well Manned and Equipped ” in 1791 as was determined in the 1939 United States v. Miller case after referencing the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. The concept of Government Regulation, as we understand it today, did not exist at the time. United States v. Miller also determined that the term “Arms” refers to “Ordinary Military Weapons”. American Citizens have the right to Keep and Bear, which means Own and Carry, any weapons that a soldier carries into battle. That includes past, present and future weapons. The American people still have some work to do with regard to taking back their rights.

Michael November 14, 2012 at 6:13 pm

It will be interesting to contrast the reports of the press conference on NBC, where Brian Williams will focus on the fiscal cliff and Fox, where they will probably talk a lot about Benghazi….as usual, they will be the only ones.

Obama was full of more contradictions and, dare I say it, lies.

Susan November 14, 2012 at 7:00 pm

Fidel Obama. As Mark Levin said, he’s an Alinskyite. He’s probably got a copy of “Rules for Radicals” at his bedside.

gracepmc November 14, 2012 at 7:26 pm

This is from a poster on Ace. Re. the President’s support of Susan Rice –

So Obama only rescues ambassadors if they’re helpless chicks?
