Just like Watergate predated Nixon’s reelection in 1972, Libya happened before Obama was reelected. If our press does their job, or at least reports the news, Obama may live to regret winning this election cycle.

As I watched the election approach with little interest/ reporting of Benghazi by the press I’ve thought a lot about 1972. I remember it all very well. Nixon won re-election and then the story unfolded. I hope that will happen, but the difference in now and then is lack of a press willing to investigate and partisanship. I don’t believe Democrats are willing to be objective in an investigation so they can’t be trusted to follow through.

I think you’re right.

The first day of our regrouping. I do see the little tackies out on the other thread trying to school us. They will always be with us.

Yes, the left will always be with us, Star. You are right, we will regroup and live to fight another day. The left may have won this battle, but they will lose the war.

…narrowly won.
