Sheesh, why doesn’t he just take up permanent residence in Ohio.

Only four weeks to go. Twenty- eight days; I can hardly believe it. I’ve been roughly counting the days since January 2009. But, today, just for the hell of it, I looked back at my Outlook calendar to see when I “officially” started my countdown, just to keep myself from getting depressed about what this POS was doing to the country. Until I looked today, I had forgotten when I exactly started it, which was in June of 2011, just as we broke 500 days. At that point, I added a countdown for my calendar for the first Tuesday of the month just to remind myself how many weeks and days were left. Then, finally, beginning October last week, my calendar has a countdown for every Tuesday. Damn, it felt like we would never get here. I cannot wait to end this long nightmare and finally get this dangerous tyrant out of there for good.

It looks like after three days of campaigning, Obummer will need a rest again on Wednesday. The rest of this week’s schedule:

On Wednesday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

On Thursday, the President will travel to Miami, Florida where he will deliver remarks at a campaign event. The President will return to Washington, DC in the evening.

On Friday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

I wonder if he’ll be watching the hearings on Wednesday.

I would like to see Romney/Ryan doing more events at college campuses. Obama is going to these campuses regularly and these kids with mush for brains go crazy for him. At U of Wisconsin last week, there were 30K in attendance, most of which were students from that huge campus. Same thing will happen tomorrow at OSU.

AFVET October 9, 2012 at 12:26 pm

I agree JP.
Romney/Ryan should hold those rallies and tell the kids that their future is dire because the private sector is not hiring and tell them why.
Give them the stats of recent graduates that are living with their parents.
Give them the stats of the enormous debt they will incur, and if they are lucky, it will take half of their life to pay off.
These ‘mush for brains’ kids are not stupid, they are ignorant, and in a lot of cases it is not their fault.

Cheer up! The average college student is so swamped with socializing or class work, that this is probably only a chance to get out of homework.

But is telling that apparently the only people he can impress are children.

So funny. Drudge is linking to an article about some propaganda puff piece where Mooch claims she rarely goes to the West Wing. From the looks of his calendar…neither does her husband.

I don’t believe it for a minute. MrsO and MrsJarrett are running the show and they’re not doing that from the Obama’s living room.
She may not enter the Oval Office much and why would she, there’s no one there.

Sadie October 8, 2012 at 11:58 pm

Susan and srdem – are the two you collaborating as a comedy duo. You both had great zingers!

We thought about getting a WhiteHouse Press credential and shaking up the notoriously inane and uninformative press briefings, but on second thought we figured we would probably be escorted from the building the first time we asked a “real” question.

Now that we know a lot of regular readers here, we might think about putting together a team to storm the next press briefing. No doubt that we could have MrCarney crying like a little girl within five minutes. Are you in?

We could even give ourselves a moniker – How does the Senescent Seniors Squadron sound?

Lizzy October 9, 2012 at 8:26 am

Way off topic but you’ve seen MO in a blue suit with floral blouse.
MOTUS reports that she’s wearing the jacket backwards they show
the designer’s runway model wearing it correctly but Mo the trend
setter wears it backwards:-).

mo1 October 9, 2012 at 11:28 am

And she also says President Obama and she are ALWAYS home for dinner at 6:30 pm. Don’t see how that is possible given their schedules, unless they have installed a transporter

Lizzy October 9, 2012 at 12:01 pm

How true but remember Romney is the liar boy are they deluded.

SnarkEsq. October 8, 2012 at 10:35 pm

This is great. I just finished reading through all the details of the latest Pew Poll (Romney’s up 49 – 45):

http://www.people-press.org/2012/10/08/romneys-strong-debate-performance-erases-obamas-lead/

I highly recommend going through all the results, as the movement toward Romney almost in all categories is just astonishing. LOTS of wonderful news in that poll, including a complete closing up of the gender gap (Romney was down 18 points among women, and now he’s even with O).

As soon as I finished reading that, I went back to Drudge and he changed his headline to “Sullivan: SOS Obama”:

http://andrewsullivan.thedailybeast.com/2012/10/did-obama-just-throw-the-entire-election-away.html

Boy, was that an enjoyable read. (Oh sorry, I cant say “boy” anymore, as that’s now raaaacist, right?). Andrew Sullivan went through the data from the Pew poll and he’s just having a meltdown. It kind of made me read his article to myself picturing Sullivan decrying O’s fall in a voice and fashion similar to that infamous Britney Spears fanboy’s video begging people to just leave poor Brit alone. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc )

Poor libs, it kind of sucks when your false idol falls off his pedestal.

Shouldn’t he be scheduling a trip to Iowa soon? It’s been a few weeks.

Just2old October 9, 2012 at 7:37 am

Another university and a captive audience. Mitt should be hitting grad/law schools to share his message with the more mature and intelligent students.

Blondie October 9, 2012 at 8:26 am

Are they offering free food at these college events?

My local college had an event last night to get people to register to vote. In order to get people there they offered free food. Most college students aren’t interested unless they are getting something for it.

In the early days, i.e. Berlin, Obama needed a free rock concert to entice the kids. This is the only reason they came to the Berlin speech – 99% of them never heard of Obama. Same thing when he used to stump through the Bible belt – he always had a third-rate entertainer to attract the sparse crowds. I used to watch him on CSPAN on Saturdays – it was pathetic. People actually left in the middle of his stump speeches. This was pre-TOTUS.

This just in. . .Ohio has closed it’s borders and air space today(and for the foreseeable future). No politicians allowed. . .we don’t want to see you; hear your commercials. . .nada!!!

Dennis October 9, 2012 at 2:08 pm

What, no golf or one on one basketball? He sure as hell isn’t cramming for the debate…
