Damaging Video of Romney was Faked

by Keith Koffler on September 29, 2012, 12:29 pm

I wonder how this one happened.

Maybe you’ve seen this video, widely circulated, in which a desperate Mitt Romney tries to get the crowd to chant his name too during an appearance with Paul Ryan. It elicits quite a reaction from Joe Scarborough.

Pathetic, right?

Turns out the typing on the video suggesting the crowd was shouting “Ryan” was fake.

From the Huffington Post, which had run a story about the video.

UPDATE: A reporter who attended the event contacted The Huffington Post to say that the crowd was chanting Romney’s name, not Ryan’s, and that Romney added his running mate’s name to the chant, not the other way around.

So Romney was actually being a gentleman instead of a loser begging for some attention.

But of course, that doesn’t fit the current storyline, does it?

And the boot licking RINO Joe went right along with it! He has the nerve to call himself a Conservative!

He calls himself a conservative? A “con” for sure and a liar-absolutely.

Wasn’t this the network that edited George Zimmerman’s cell phone call ? Why would anyone trust this “news” organization for information?

Please take a look at this video, Mr.Caddell is right. It is time to have a discussion about this, beyond time. Perhaps our host could help, and talk to his peers as well. This needs to stop, and fast.

That just knocked my socks off! Thanks for posting: it needs to go viral. How stupid can the American people be to accept what is going on? I just came back from the grocery stores, and side by side there are Newsweek and Time before the checkout. One has Obama on the cover with the headline, “The Democrats’ Reagan”, and the other Bill Clinton, as if he is running for co-President. I am a non-affiliated voter, but all people of decency and of the mind to vote for him need to vote for Romney no matter what they tell us.

Thank you for watching it. Pat Caddel is a Democrat, he was a higher up in Jimmy Carter’s White House. Please help spread it, it needs to be heard far and wide.

I wish Caddell had addressed our lifeline, the Internet, the sites we not only read, but support and network, pass on and steal.

Good old Dave Brooks is also suggesting Romney just come out and say he’s a bad candidate. Who is paying these people, anyhow?,

Reply

Star September 29, 2012 at 4:01 pm

I guess Romney does not iron his pants to Dave’s satisfaction.

Thanks for that reminder. That remark was one of the most shocking of 2008. That time around, the clothes had no emperor.

Reply

Radegunda September 29, 2012 at 10:57 pm

Okay – I’m not really defending Brooks in the larger sense. It is a little weird that he considered the well-creased pants worthy of comment. But he didn’t actually say (or even imply) that those creases were what made him think Barky would be “a very good president.” He just made an unfortunate juxtaposition of ideas in an effort to write stylishly. And he wasn’t bright enough to realize that he was setting himself up for endless ridicule.

See, I’m not defending him. I’m just defending syntax.

I would prefer a bad candidate any old day compared to a candidate that does nothing campaigning even after he’s won the election. Give us an honest, hard working, rational thinking bad candidate. That is a major improvement.

I don’t think what we’re seeing now is any rendition of the Civil War, where families were divided over their belief in slavery. I think we’re seeing a rendition of 1776. These pretenders are nothing more than the loyalists of 2012. Only difference is King George is the leviathan federal government we’ve allowed to rob us of our rights one by one. This time our complaint does not include taxation without representation. Our complaint includes representation without taxation. When 47% of Americans pay no income taxes, it’s not surprising that president Kardashian’s approval rating rarely dips below that mark. Make sure you get everybody you know to the polls and vote this man out of office before it’s too late.

“When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.” ~ Benjamin Franklin

Doesn’t this make you think that no matter what he does the deck is stacked against Romney?

I did a video yesterday on the new book:

Presidential Perks Gone Royal: Your Taxes Are Being Used For Obama’s Re-election by Robert Keith Gray
http://www.amazon.com/Presidential-Perks-Gone-Royal-Re-election/dp/0974810355

It hasn’t received much attention so I put it to music:

Granny Jan and Jihad Kitty September 29, 2012 at 3:41 pm

Thanks! It’s difficult doing a video where you have to read so I tried to keep people’s attention with the music and visuals.

I read that they put a curtain around the Jay Z champagne tower which was in his 40/40 nightclub during the Obama event. Each bottle costs $300. Now why did they feel the need to cover it? No photos were allowed anyways. (That was rhetorical.)

The bottles themselves are works of art and made a good background for me.
In Obama and Jay Z’s case, money can’t buy you class.

Sadie September 29, 2012 at 3:44 pm

Excellent and the music selection was spot on. Their stolen perks make me want a percoset. : (

Thanks. Sadie. It’s funny that you would mention percocet because I’m taking it now for my bum knee. I just had a cortisone shot and they gave me a script till it works.

It does make you mellow but in my case very itchy. I’m happily scratching. I’ve taken oxcy before and borrow my husband’s vycod. They never are that great on arthritic pain but do make you happy so you don’t notice the pain.

I still work in my garden everyday like I’ve been doing for 40 years. It’s my relaxing hobby…way more relaxing than politics.

Sadie September 29, 2012 at 4:41 pm

I am not a doctor, but can you take a benadryl chaser to rid yourself of the “itchies”. I am relegated to a balcony garden, lots of pots. It has it’s limitations, but no weeding is necessary (unlike politics) which constantly needs weeding.

h/t to fellow commenter, Sadie, the current number of viewers for cable ‘news’ tells the tale of how our country thinks. The majority of viewers are conservative and the least are the progressive liberals.
MSNBC’s talent lineup presents the liberal agenda in an off-putting and disturbing manner; they outline conservatives as clumsy, uneducated dolts who deserve ridicule and distainful comments.
It’s really hard to watch MSNBC.

So, it’s not surprising that they misread/misunderstood/tampered with/ lied about a confusing campaign moment of the Romney and Ryan team.
It’s who they are and what they do.

Girly1, you want some more laughs? Check this out:

Still, while Scarborough said he had no plans to run for president at the moment, he did not rule out the possibility that he might change his mind before 2016.

“I’ve got no plans to run in 2016, or in 2020. But you never know what’s going to happen,” he said. “Every two years, there’s someone suggesting that I run for Senate. Every two years, the national party comes to me. I’ve always been really flattered. But I look around, and I have the best job in the world. I have no desire to leave.”
