Romney Scores Hit Vs. Obama’s Communalism

Not a bad ad from Romney, and a well deserved hit against the president after his declaration of the Obama Manifesto contending that the government is as responsible – or more responsible – for the success of businesses than the entrepreneurs who risked all and sacrificed endlessly to build them.

Public services like roads aid millions of people. The notion that the individuals who built them are as responsible for a businessperson’s success as the businessperson himself is not just insulting. It’s completely absurd.

I mean, please, find the road builder I need to thank for the chicken McNuggets I went out and purchased this evening. Although, I guess I’ll just be annoying him, because all the people who used the same road to get to the Giant and the Shell station are probably also texting and phoning in their gratitude.

Or, God forbid, showing up as his door.

  1. The taxpayers of Michigan didn’t pave their roads so HenryFord could make the ModelT, they poured asphalt and concrete over the dirt because they were tired of walking in the mud or having the dust blow into their parlors.
Americans were schooling their children before GeorgeWashinton became the first President. All over American, there are still volunteer firemen who serve their community risking their lives to save others and their property.

MrObama is so out of tune, so clueless, of who and what Americans are that it’s almost weird.

    • “He was raised by feral Marxists out in the wild…it’s all he knows.”
So true. That is why he doesn’t act like a real American or know how real Americans live…he wasn’t raised as an American.

Love Bill Whittle’s work. Betcha he is moving up on King Putt’s enemies list after his last few Afterburner episodes.

  2. Obama wants to redistribute everything – health care, jobs, wealth and now your business success. He thinks that people can’t succeed on their own because he hasn’t.

  3. When I first read about these outrageous comments on Sunday evening, I was immediately livid and copied and pasted the comments here on this blog. I knew this was big, that the PO(tu)S had slipped and revealed who he really is, and as I said then, how very much he despises the small business owners of this country just as much as he despises the United States.

The second part of his comments with the “you didn’t build that” remarks seems the be getting the most attention. However, I remain equally incensed by the first part. To the “Uh huhs!” and “Yeahs!” of the adoring crowd, BHO was basically saying that the small business owners of America are NO smarter or more hard working than anyone else. To that I say B.S!

What a bunch of crap this know-nothing, do-nothing loser spews! He has NO clue what it takes to start and build a business. He really thinks they don’t work harder than anyone else? Tell that to all the people I know, including my father, my husband, myself, relatives, and friends who have given up the safety of steady paychecks and benefits, taken risks, put their savings on the line, taken on debt in some cases, sacrificed family time, leisure time, vacations, and holidays, to start and build businesses over as many days a week and as many hours a day as they could possibly stand. He has the unmitigated nerve to declare that they didn’t earn their success on their own?

BHO then went on to say that if you are successful someone along the way gave you help. Then he goes into his “roads and bridges” spiel, how you didn’t build that. Really? What came first, the hard working taxpayer whose money is confiscated from the government, or the roads? See, he really does believe that “the government” is this completely separate entity that has its own money because what it takes from the taxpayers belongs to the government all along, and we should be so thankful that the government builds roads, bridges and schools – “this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive.

That part irks me as well, that we’ve been “allowed” to thrive. He really just does not get it. He thinks the small business owner is thriving as a result of the government (which is really just the business owners’ tax dollars). I would say more than ever today, under the rule of King Obama, that small businesses are not successful because of government but in spite of government, with its taxes and regulations.

Like the readers here, I’ve always known what this loser is about and I’m just hoping a lot more people are finally seeing it now.

There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t — look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

    • Well said Snark. We can only hope that this was the tipping point for this election. His true idiotic philosophy finally revealed for all to see.

      • Thanks Just2. You’re right, this should be the tipping point for this election. I just hope and pray that the same people who in 2008 ignored the many signs such as his comments about redistributing the wealth, energy prices necessarily skyrocketing, and fundamentally transforming America, finally now know what he’s all about and refuse to suffer another four years under the tyranny of BHO.

  4. You will notice he gets himself in trouble when he gets off the teleprompter. This time and when he said the private sector is doing just find.
