As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Obama is All Wet

President Obama was drenched today during a campaign rally in Glen Allen, Virginia, where the skies opened up and Obama’s podium lacked cover.

Here’s some video from a local TV station:

The president addressed only 900 people at the event, according to local officials.

  1. The reason our kids must stay on our insurance until they are 26 is because they cannot find jobs. That is just pathetic. God willing, you are washed up Obama.

    • Exactly! Obummer is so proud to take “credit” for the fact that people can stay on Mommy and Daddy’s health inursance until they’re 26 years old. Romney really needs to turn that around and declare that Obummer should be ASHAMED of the fact that these young adults can no longer get jobs and have to rely on their parents well into their mid-twenties. That’s the pathetic result of the Obama Depression.

  2. There was a news clip of AF One sitting on the runway waiting for the Messiah to arrive this morning. I checked the flight miles from D.C. to Glen Allen – 89 miles!!! I’m not a pilot, but I’m guessing they had to fly at least a couple hundred miles or so just to gain enough altitude to circle back to land in Glen Allen!

All of this taxpayer $$$ so that the skinny Kenyan exhibitionist can play act at being POTUS in front of 900 welfare recipients ! Someone needs to grab the reins out of his hands and frog-march him out of the WH ! He is unfit to serve and unfit to be called POTUS It is crystal clear now that he has deliberately derailed the U.S economy in order to buy votes. I said it before and I will say it again – this charlatan should spend his next term in a cell next to Blago! His actions are criminal!

  3. Ugh…the cult of personality and his entitlement class drones putting on a show for the cameras. He’s sounding more like Hugo Chavez every day.

    • As Levin said, this guy is the American version of Castro or Hugo Chavez and the sad part is that the people surrounding this clown look very much as those from a banana republic.

  4. No doubt the rainstorm was due to Bush’s lack of agressive action to combat Global Warming. Oops, I mean Climate Change. Oops, I mean Climate Disruption. Well, whatever it is, I’m SURE it must be “Bush’s Fault”!!

  5. I am still shocked that people are needing to supply their 26 year olds health insurance! Times are really changing. By the time I was 26 I was having my second child. I didn’t ever want government help in anything. I guess that is why I don’t have any respect for politicians of both parties. They really want a nanny state.

      • It’s pathetic and Romney should blast Obama about it. Romney should talk about how in the “new normal” of the Obama Depression, we have 26 year old adults living with Mommy and Daddy and staying on their health insurance, and Obama is shamelessly proud of that fact he cites as an accomplishment! Romney needs to remind people that this is NOT the way it should be or has been up until Obama, and that under President Romney we will be restored to a time when we know our kids will graduate college and have decent jobs, and be self sufficient well before the age of 26!

      • To be fair, I thought the law ALLOWS you to stay on Mommy & daddy’s insurance, but they do not have to include you.
It still is pandering, nannyish nonsense, deisgned like I said before, for the ‘everyone gets a trophy’ generation.

  6. What’s with the lime green? You never dress in lime green and then proceed to make a spectacle of yourself. Kinda steals the show.

  7. Only 900 people turned out to see the Preezy? Used to be they would have swam with sharks, crawled through snake pits and walked on fire all just to see their man BO.

  8. Just an observation: MrO looked like a skinny old man with a wet shirt clinging to his bony shoulders and stick-like arms. His campaign speeches are old and trite.
A more savvy politician would have ended his speech immediately when the rain started, thanked everyone for coming to see him, and expressed his concern for the safety. Those standing in the rain were his supporters who didn’t need convincing to vote for him.

There is a sweaty smell of desperation in his campaign. His supporters are getting more outrageous with their attacks on MrRomney, actually getting downright into dirty politics.
We don’t like dirty politics. They should remember that.

    • That’s what I thought too. Let the poor people get out of the rain. But thn again, he never seems to worry about the little people, whether it’s flying in and out during rush hour or stopping by someplace for lunch and making every one else wait or date nights when restaurants have to close just for them. I guess he thought the optics of how dedicated he was to still be there in the rain was more important than the voters. Typical.

  9. I saw this on Weasel Zippers, and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why he was standing out in the pouring rain with (apparently) no cover or umbrella or whatever.

  10. After looking at the photos, it appears that Team Obama made a calculated decision to allow the Messiah to play the rain-soaked martyr. Surely, there were a few extra umbrellas within reach. I’m sure the history books will contain one of the photos – portraying Obama as the President who refused to abandon his people – and nearly died of pneumonia in the process. As the old saying goes – ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’…

  11. Look at all the buffoons hooting and hollering behind him. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in numbers.
