He doesn’t receive his daily briefing until 11am and then SIX fundraisers? More travel on our dime, more time away from his official job as Preezy. Enough is enough!

Robin H June 12, 2012 at 8:50 am

The Sidwell School graduation is in the morning. Uncle Joe is speaking at 10:30. Most normal people would then just get up early and do the briefing before the graduation, but no, not him. We’ll just tack it on to our drive time. I’m sure there’s nothing important going on anywhere…

Granny Jan June 11, 2012 at 8:02 pm

He was too busy to got to Wisconsin to help Barrett he told a reporter lied today. Maybe that reporter should check his daily schedule.

Keith Koffler June 11, 2012 at 9:34 pm

Did he really say that? Gosh.

With today’s NYT front page story about Vogue’s Anna Wintour flattering profile of Mrs. Assad because she’s tall and slim (shhh, she’s married to a murderer, but look at those Christian Louboutin heels), any guess on if Obama opts out of his fundraiser there on Thursday?

And this jaded New Yorker wonders if Obama giving visiting President Shimon Peres the U.S Presidential Freedom Medal on Wednesday has anything to do with today’s report that Obama has lost alot of the Jewish vote?

Inquiring minds want to know!

GotFreedom June 11, 2012 at 8:12 pm

May we comment on 2 points?

1–regarding the Anna Wintour article–he’ll still go (first, because he’s such a narcissist and he doesn’t give a da#n what the “little people” think and second, he’s probably got to go to set up an article for MO with Vogue).

2–Saw that article about BHO losing favor with the Jewish vote–but it’s only down 10% from 75% to 65%–that’s it??? IMO, still way to high. Can’t understand how our Jewish friends can continue to support BHO when he blatantly does everything he can to undermine Israel–is it simply a Dem vs Rep. thing that American Jews continue to vote for BHO, in other words, more about supporting the party than the candidate? Just don’t get it!

GotFreedom June 11, 2012 at 8:05 pm

What, no scheduled “drone attacks”?

No meetings scheduled with top security advisers?

. . .but on another note, such a busy day–how does he find the time to carry out his presidential duties–oh wait–that’s what Valerie Jarret is for!

And then again, maybe it’s a good thing he isn’t spending so much time in the Oval office–safer for the country that way don’t you think?

NOBAMA 2012!!!

Susan June 11, 2012 at 8:45 pm

Speaking of drones…heard one of them crashed over Maryland today. Where are all the environazis complaining about the big black deadzone in the middle of a marsh? Just wondering how many endangered wildlife species were murdered by the favored toy of the tyrant.

Sadie June 11, 2012 at 11:42 pm

Umm…why were any drones flying over Maryland. Well, that would be because was back in Feb. of this year Congress passed a bill.

Shaun Waterman at The Washington Times reports the agency predicts that 30,000 drones could fill U.S. skies by the end of the decade.

langley spook June 12, 2012 at 6:32 am

it was a Navy version of a USAF Global Hawk (a drone the size of passenger jet) that was test flying out of NAS Pax. River, MD

Mari June 12, 2012 at 10:18 am

If it had to crash, it’s too bad it wasn’t in Assawoman Bay over near Ocean City, MD. Think what fun the newscasters could have had with that name!

langley spook June 12, 2012 at 11:41 am

…the Eastern Shore of Maryland is a ‘strange’ place…

Mari June 12, 2012 at 12:45 pm

Actually, the eastern shore and western Maryland are the only normal parts of the state – well, maybe some of southern Maryland, such as St. Mary’s County. It’s Baltimore and the counties around DC that are really, really strange.

sablegsd June 11, 2012 at 8:36 pm

God help me, but I hate that prick.

gobnait June 11, 2012 at 9:30 pm

Join the ever-expanding club.

The regular Joe June 11, 2012 at 8:47 pm

This guy’s fundraising business is very, very insulting and offensive and enough is enough.

langley spook June 12, 2012 at 6:39 am

…and the “media” will skip over “reporting” these fundraisers today, so dont worry

sportinlife10 June 11, 2012 at 9:25 pm

He does lend himsef to satire.

cindy lu June 11, 2012 at 10:24 pm

Dang! Can we stop paying he check?

cindy lu June 11, 2012 at 10:25 pm

*his check

Robin H June 11, 2012 at 10:25 pm

And once again he departs and arrives in the middle of rush hour.

Do we know who the private residence belongs to in Maryland?

Stephen C. June 11, 2012 at 10:39 pm

You have to give the guy credit. Solves the problems arisen in the past 24 hours in 45 minutes of the morning. Cool like the other side of the pillow. What is the daily Presidential briefing anyway? And how in the heck can all the issues relevant to the United Socialist’s of America be discussed in such a short time frame.

Shofar June 11, 2012 at 10:45 pm

This will make scheduled fundraisers 16-21 for the month of June. Eight scheduled work day and 21 fundraisers. If I remember my high school math correctly that is 2.625 fundraisers for every day worked.

Keith, you need to remember to report this in context. This isn’t just about raising money for the campaign, the fundraisers are Obama’s only opportunities to get out and meet with the people. We need to keep things in perspective, and realize that without the $3 lotteries many of the “little people” would never have the chance to see Obama up close and personal.

Plus, the rubber chicken dinners are the only way he can escape the food Nazi.

SnarkEsq. June 12, 2012 at 12:38 pm

Twenty-one fundraisers in eight days, unbelievable. I can’t wait to see your total for the month of June, Shofar.

nlynch June 11, 2012 at 10:56 pm

Surely this is a typo….like 6 of them!

Girly1 June 11, 2012 at 11:47 pm

The NYT neglected to mention that Diana Wintour did a glossy cover layout on the MOOCH before they had even unpacked their bags at the WH. I believe it was the January 2009 issue. Wintour has been an intimate friend of the Obama’s for obvious reasons. Have we ever had a more narcissistic pair in the WH?

It wouldn’t shock me in the slightest if one of the reasons Obama has closed his eyes to the atrocities in Syria is this unholy alliance with Wintour and her coterie of international rich and famous ‘super stars’ and, of course, his allegiance to the Iranian regime. Isn’t it odd that the only two ‘revolutions’ he ignored were Iran and Syria?

Obama has no allegiance to this country. “I am a citizen of the world”, he said. Was anyone listening?

langley spook June 12, 2012 at 6:37 am

Interesting point how Obama “ignorned” Iran and is “ignoring” Syria… the 2 ‘revolutions’ that could truly re-shape the Middle East

Sadie June 11, 2012 at 11:52 pm

Mr. “I’ve got you back” was busy on Monday, too, exempting “friends” from Iran sanctions. The Drudge headline takes you to the link.

US exempts more nations from Iran sanctions…

The state department announced Monday that Turkey, India, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, South Africa and Sri Lanka had all reduced purchases of Iranian oil by a large enough amount to be given a six-month exemption from the sanctions, which come into operation on June 28.

In an earlier announcement, Japan and 10 European countries had already been awarded an exemption.

Mr. T. June 12, 2012 at 12:15 am

Six fundraisers…is that a one-day record? Do I hear seven?? I know he’s got it in him.

Susan June 12, 2012 at 9:26 am

Nah…that’s old news. He did six fundraisers last Friday too.

SnarkEsq. June 12, 2012 at 12:40 pm

Yup, he started out June with six fundraisers on Friday, June 1st. I think he was just setting the pace for this month. They’re determined to post high dollar amounts for June and for the second quarter.

The Original June 12, 2012 at 2:04 am

That is a pathetic schedule.

QueenOfScott June 12, 2012 at 5:39 am

It’s a jammed pack fund raising day! Go Obama, go home!

RickW June 12, 2012 at 6:34 am

I wonder if our drone fleet has the capability to scan credit cards. Maybe Dear Leader could use them to ensure better saturation coverage of a region……….

deniro1111 June 12, 2012 at 3:20 pm

if were lucky maybe a couple of Drones will fly over the White House stranger things have happened

AZ Granny June 12, 2012 at 7:46 am

Obama arrives back at the WH at 11:20pm. I bet tomorrow will be another late start to the day and light schedule.

SnarkEsq. June 12, 2012 at 12:42 pm

You’re probably right. The weekly schedule only shows one thing for Wednesday, awarding Shimon Peres the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Faun June 12, 2012 at 7:56 am

Great, glad to see he’s leaving Baltimore during rush hour. Thanks for nothing.

Justavet June 12, 2012 at 8:04 am

Oh, damn. He will be too tired again on Wednesday to do any work. Are six fund raisers in one day a record? If I remember correctly, even when they are whistle stop campaigning, you might get to four or five stops in a day.

Unbelievable. Oops. I take that back….we are talking about a super star. My bad.

Quintis Arrius June 12, 2012 at 8:23 am

Whoa! Allow me to interject that the majority of the fundraisers seem to be on the coasts near big intl airports. We need intel in those private fundraisers to see the extent of the foreign interests being represented. His election coffers are being filled, I suspect, with international representation that is by definition hostile to American economic secuirty. I’ve read its in the neighborhood of $300,000,000!
Simply put: Middle east oil=Obama support=Keystone pipeline delay.
ATTENTION: IF there is any PATRIOT left in the White House, please leak the list of foreign donors at these fundraisers!

Lizzy June 12, 2012 at 9:34 am

Read in Weazel Zippers via the Independent UK that Obama is considering
Anna Wintour as Ambassador to the UK. It would be historically funny if it
wasn’t probably true. We have gone from annoying to dangerously stupid
Trouble is he’d do it probably get some great swag for Mo:(

deniro1111 June 12, 2012 at 10:57 am

this piece os crap 6 fund raiserd while we suffer he needs to be impeached now nothing but garbage hope he knows hes done in november

deniro1111 June 12, 2012 at 11:42 am

trucker doc June 12, 2012 at 6:03 pm
