  1. yea, went to Joplin tonight to preach at the kids about how much better they’re doing under his leadership. Whew, tough day. I hope the Joplin kids boooed him. They lost their friends and loved ones one year ago. God bless them and their rebuilding efforts….without much help from the federal government. Another photo op.

  2. Looks like the week-end at Camp David wore him out! Must be exhausting to fake being the leader of the ‘free world’ when all he has done for 4 years is blame the Republicans and George Bush for his abject failures. His only ‘audiences’ have consisted of teeny-bopper school kids.

My jaw almost fell on the floor when his opening remark at the Camp David ‘breaking news’ farce was to blame the the U.S. economy on ‘the situation in Japan and the Euro-Zone”! That must have gone over well with the G8 members!

Oh, to be a fly on the wall! He must be a laughingstock!

  3. Is it just me, or do other folks remember Presidents getting daily briefings, like, daily? And REALLY early in the morning, like wake the bugler times? Six AM, or maybe as late as half-past seven?
Just askin’, cuz I know the answer.

    • This lazy slug usually doesn’t roll out of bed until 10 AM, so doubt he has ever watched the beauty of the sun rising from the windows of the Oval Office. I remember the days when a president had weekly Cabinet meetings too. This guy hasn’t met with his full cabinet since the 31st of January.

  4. Last week when his Thursday schedule had nothing on it, I said this entitled PO(tu)S was taking a day off because he punches the clock and he felt he deserved it since he had to work with the G8 and NATO summits over the weekend.

Then, over the weekend, when the advance schedule for the week listed Tuesday as “the President will attend meetings at the WH”, I KNEW he was giving himself another day off to compensate for working all weekend. He just had to bookend a very rare work weekend with a day off before and a day off after the weekend. It’s all so predictable and pathetic.

He’s traveling Wednesday and Thursday to Colorado, California and Iowa for fundraisers, but with a coupe of “official” events thrown in (in CO and IA). Then, on Friday, it’s “meetings at the WH” again, which means a ANOTHER day off unless something comes up.

The sad part is that as empty as his schedule usually is, with the typically late mornings, empty afternoons, and time off, this is the most he’s ever “worked” in his life. He’s never had to even show up this much before in his life, and that’s “work” to him. Lucky for him, he will be sent on a permanent vacation in November!

  5. Oh dear this never bodes well. Ask what he does from Skippy perhaps he
meets secretly with lobbiest and helps to organize riots I mean grassroots
    groups:)

    • Well whaddya know, Anderson Cooper actually pressing an Obamabot to answer a question rather than letting him veer off into rote talking points. Wonders never cease…

    • I can only imagine what he’s going to say on Wednesday at the Air Force commencement in Colorado:

On Wednesday, the President will travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to deliver the commencement address at the Air Force Academy. The President will then travel to Denver, Colorado for a campaign event. In the evening, the President will travel to California for campaign events in Atherton and Redwood City. The President will spend the night in San Jose, California.

    • Media reports have related Obama’s frequent habit of writing portions of his own speeches. This address included seven mentions of “community” and seven mentions of “together,” and ended with a martial call for unity in the face of economic adversity.

“We have tomorrow, so we march. We march together,” said the president, who began his political career as a community organizer in Chicago.

    • >>“As you begin the next stage in your journey, you will encounter greed and selfishness; ignorance and cruelty. … You will meet people who try to build themselves up by tearing others down; who believe looking after others is only for suckers,” he said.<<

Obama stood before the graduating class and their families and friends, tearing down congress and Romney. Not much of an inspirational speech to high school kids, proud of their accomplishments and ready to set off into the world. Instead, Obama co-opted their graduation for his political gain.
