Today’s word of the day ‘Evolution’
More than the whole evolution/evolving conversation at this briefing, I was appalled to hear Carney say that the President has not seen the latest video of the American Warren Weinstein who is held hostage in Pakistan. The video is tough to watch and the man is obviously being forced to spout AQ rhetoric, but the LEAST our President could do is spend two minutes and forty seconds when a fellow American is suffering. Unacceptable in my book.
That should have been part of his daily intel brief…
He could have used some of those terrorists he released in Afghanistan for prisoner exchange but he says he can’t negotiate with al Qaeda. He sees no problem negotiating with the Taliban though.
