by Keith Koffler on April 27, 2012, 5:43 pm

“Doctors at George Washington University Hospital last night successfully reconnected Vice President Biden’s brain to his mouth. The vice president is resting comfortably and is in good spirits.”

- White House Press Secretary Jay Carney

A note from our attorneys: This is not a real quote

Shhhh. I’m busy pretending I like ol Joe. Not.

“A note from our attorneys: This is not a real quote ”

Of course it isn’t. He’d have to posses a brain before they could splice the link.

judybeth April 27, 2012 at 6:35 pm

Even though the quote is not real, the idea of brain surgery/scan/mri to check for “senility” is worth exploring!

srdem65 April 27, 2012 at 7:09 pm

He can’t help it, it’s a common thing among us old geezers.
We just say what pops in our heads, make jokes that no one laughs at and complain about the “kids”.
Old people don’t get stupid; stupid people get old.

Keith Koffler April 27, 2012 at 10:44 pm

Hah! Truth is, I kind of enjoy some of the things he says, srdem. As long as I don’t listen for too long.

Stephen C. April 27, 2012 at 7:31 pm

Leave Biden alone. He’s just an old fart in his early stages of dementia. Poor fool.

Stephen C. April 27, 2012 at 7:58 pm

Oh wait a sec. You don’t leave him alone, he might hurt himself with a sharp object.

Carl-Bear April 27, 2012 at 9:17 pm

So… Leave ‘im alone?

Susan April 27, 2012 at 9:44 pm

Betcha his blood alcohol level is through the roof most every time he imparts his words of wisdom. If his loose lips aren’t caused by imbibing too much liquid courage, then senility is probably kicking in.

Amazing what a good surgeon can do.
Wonder how they managed to work around the foot-in-mouth problem. ; )

langley barfly April 28, 2012 at 6:42 am

VP Biden = 1 bad plate of sushi away from the Presidency…
(dosent that keep you up at night :-| )

Carl-Bear April 28, 2012 at 11:30 am

It’s an application of the Quayle Principle: “line of succession” + “well-chosen VP” = “ZERO assassins willing to risk the consequences”.
