Would you want to have this guy speak in front of you? I think not. I’d be holding some garlic and a cross if I came close to him:

From the weekly schedule:

On Tuesday, the President will travel to Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton for an official event on the economy, where he will make the case for the Buffet Rule, a simple principle for fairness that ensures that millionaires pay at least the same effective tax rate as middle class families pay. The President believes in standing up for the middle class and making our tax system fairer, where everyone plays by the same set of rules, in order to ensure the economic security of the middle class. While in Florida, the President will also attend campaign events. He will return to Washington, DC, in the evening.

———————

Please tell me that I’m not the only one sick and tired of these WEEKLY bullcrap excuses to make an “official” stop somewhere just so he can campaign and fund raise. EVERY single week since January 2009, BHO has flown somewhere to deliver remarks on the “stimulus”, health care (insurance, they always leave that word out), the budget, the deficit, the debt ceiling, jobs, the economy, blah, blah, blah.

It’s all such a joke. He can make whatever remarks he want from the ROSE GARDEN or the White House. WHY will no one ever question this constant bullcrap excuse to fly somewhere to deliver remarks on the issue of the week merely as an excuse to attend some fundraisers and campaign?

Thirty weeks from tomorrow! I cannot wait!

This is no joke we are experiencing. It’s a well thought out plan to demoralize the masses. Divide and Conquer.

Buffet Rule, my tuchas.

Berkshire Hathaway hasn’t paid taxes in 10 years. Figures, he’s O’s role model – Warren has NINE of them $1,000,000,000. due since 2002.

Hard not to notice how rarely he rolls out of bed before 10 am, except when he’s heading off on another campaign boondoggle…

annatee April 10, 2012 at 2:58 am

How can he live with himself? Seriously?

Reply

Lizzy April 10, 2012 at 6:30 am

Apparently very easily he has no conscience or soul.

I figured it out, Mr. Obama is the Milli Vanilli (sic) of politics.

Yikes, Granny Jan….it’s time for an exorcism! That is one scary dude!

There’s something in the air around the WH lately, the Mooch is developing a new type of smirk … it’s in the bag – we are going to be around for 4 more years – get used to it! Very troubling!

It’s time for a late night rant;
I don’t care where MrO goes, who he talks to, or how much money he shakes out of wealthy people. Most of America doesn’t care, either.
The election is over, the O’s can start collecting moving boxes from U-Haul.
We’re sick of seeing them everywhere, all the time, on TV, on the internet and we know his speeches by heart…..fair…level playing field…taxes…Repubs bad…women…race…. and we turn away when he starts his blather. Obamacare is dead in the water, no matter what the Supremes decide; we’re just not going to participate and will use our powers of civil disobeience if we have to.
We’re not going to participate in a race war or a war against women or a war against succesful people or a war against religion. That’s not how America rolls, we aren’t in the mood to fight each other. We have real enemies who want to kill us all, we don’t need to fight each other.

This is tuning into a real dirty election already with attacks on a candidate’s religious beliefs, his success and his family. We won’t fall into that mess willingly and no amount of dirty campaign ads or thuggish patrons threatening us will make a difference in how we vote.
Americans don’t like the occupiers, we cringe at the thuggish unions, we’re outraged at the partisans who besmirch us with their rants of racism where none exists. We don’t like our government pushing around our religions, we aren’t going to give up our guns, we don’t like being overrun with illegal aliens who have no intention of assimilating into our society. We don’t trust any Muslim to be peaceful or to obey our laws and not theirs.

When a prominent and visible Black organization calls publicly for the illegal kidnapping of an American citizen or calls out for their members to kill someone and our Dept of Justice does nothing and our President says nothing then we have reached the watershed of public trust in our government.
We don’t trust this President to carry out his prime directive.
We just don’t trust our government anymore.

Well said Srdem. Your rant reminded me of a T. Jefferson quote:

“When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. “

I just received a photo of a “To Do List” which said:
1. Pray
2. Vote
3. Buy more ammo.

And once again…Washington Post beating the drum that Romney lacks humanity–wait, didn’t he suspend Bain to help an employee whose kid was kidnapped, take care of his wife lovingly during three huge health crises, tithe income to the poor, etc. Like those things would be printed. Instead it comes out that he is mean to women, etc. I for one am sick of this… Again, the Post, Assoc Press, Carney, everyone depends on the ignorance, hopelessness or blind allegiance of the electorate.

So one “official” teleprompter appearance at a college/university justifies the use of Air Force One and the Secret Service for a full day of fundraising? HELLO, MAINSTREAM MEDIA??? Where is your reporting on Obama’s abuse of tax payers’ money to pay for his fundraising expenses, “justified” by ONE appearance at a college??? NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, NYT, Bill Maher, etc., etc. Why the silence??? Why the omission of news??? How much fuel will this man use on his fundraising escapade? Not even a White House daily briefing tomorrow? This man is a puppet-in-chief! God help us.

He’ll throw $200 or so into the coffers for a round trip (business class) trip back and forth to Boca.

It’s covered, Annatee, don’t worry.

Chances are that “official” speech will be a cleverly disquised campaign speech. If he mentions congress or the republicans or Bush, the DNC should pick up the tab.

Robin H April 10, 2012 at 7:47 am

If he thinks it’s so important to get these laws passed, why is he going to colleges to talk to them? When was the last time he met with congressional leaders? And not to lecture them, but to discuss anything? I know, it’s a rhetorical question. But gee whiz, put your big boy pants on and talk to the ones in charge.

Pandering to the ignorant. That’s not to say all young people are ignorant — just the ones who say or tweet ‘Cool! Get out of class and see the president!’ and cheer like crazy while he dooms their future.

Where’s Shofar with our fundraiser tally?

I COUNT on those.

Reply

Shofar April 10, 2012 at 9:20 am

Scheduled fundraisers 3, 4, and 5.

Approx air miles for AF1 – 1,807/550 mph = 3.29 hrs. times $181,757 p/hr for A1 = $597,154 costs for AF1 travel.

Cost includes ONLY AF1, and not any other support aircraft, or incidental travel expenses.

Note to Car In – had a rough night last night, so I’m running a little late with this. Sorry, I try my best. There are days where, due to my shaking, I should be making martinis for James Bond. :-)

If Obama wasn’t able to access unlimited taxpayer funds to travel about in campaign mode, how far would he get if he had to rely on hitchhiking?
