I hope the poster who keeps track of all the fundraisers has fresh batteries in his calculator, because they will be needed to keep track of miles flown and how much it is costing We The People to haul the POtuS all over the world while he collects money.

Keith: I was wishing you contributed a blog post about his “Oil speech” today. He stated we are 2% of the world’s population and we ‘consume 20% of the world’s oil.’ Really. This is a misleading stat that has made it into our children’s text books.
What President Obama forgot to mention (and appears to be purposefully left out of grade school science text books) is the spinoff uses of the oil that the U.S. “consumes.”
A 42 gallon barrel (U.S.) of crude oil produces approximately 10 gallons of diesel, 4 gallons of jet fuel, 19 gallons of gasoline, 7 gallons of other products (medications, plastics, paints, and adhesives) 3 gallons split between heavy fuel oil and liquified petroleum gases, and 2 gallons of heating oil.
So we take the oil and spin it back into the world as products for the world.
We are hobbling oursevles, Mr. President.

I can’t believe how much money he’s spending. Does MO have a money tree growing in her veggie garden? His travel is $182K per hour for Air Force One plus all the other planes for reporters, secret service, cargo jet, advance security team and fuel for his 20 plus motorcade. With his trip to the basketball game, these fundraisers and the big party last night, I bet he spends close to $10 million just this week alone.
Scheduled fundraisers 8, 9, 10, and 11 for the month. Twelve workdays thus far in March, average – one fundraiser for every 1.0909 days worked. That did not count the State Dinner for the British cheerleader-in-chief.

Thank you for keeping these stats Shofar. It is almost surreal how silent the WH press corps has been in the face of his non-stop campaigning, while this country is mired in the deep financial depression he propagated.
You should consider sending those stats to Limbaugh or Beck or Hannity.
Are there any other rich people who can just take a day off a week, and fly to two different states for a party or two in each? Probably not, because that would be a waste of their own money.
Does anyone have a count as to how many times Obama has flown in AF1, and how long it’s been in the air? Tomorrow would count for 3.

Yesterday, Matt Drudge had several headlines in the upper left hand corner (above the main picture) about Afghanistan and soldier who did the shooting on Sunday. These headlines dealt with how upset the Afghans were, about moving the soldier to Kuwait, etc. The bottom one on the list: Obama fills out his NCAA bracket. It was priceless in showing exactly how useless and clueless he is!
