As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Quote of the Day || February 14, 2012

“You do your first couple of billion in deficit spending and you’re like, ‘Hey, it’s alright, I can handle this.’ But then you find you don’t get the same rush as before, so you do more – ten billion here, twenty billion there. Then all of a sudden your onto the harder stuff – a hundred billion, a trillion. People tell you you’ve got a problem, but you don’t listen.”

– Barack Obama

  1. You fooled me too, Keith. The headline sounded so true :”Obama temporarily steps down, will campaign full time .” But thinking about it, it really IS true , isn´t it ?
I also read your Politico link about Obamas “fair shot” budgetspeech. No cuts, just spending. Many commenters noticed that this is paving the way to a Greek situation. But Greece is corrupt on many levels, produces nothing but oliveoil, and has tourism as the only source of income so the US could of course never be a Greece. However, there must be focus on investments and small entrepeneurs , getting rid of harmful regulations and taxes and of course hold a tight rein on the spending. A serious budget, not a campaign budget. Something the dishonest Obama never will be able to offer.

  2. Diane Sawyer 2002 interview: “Reprots are you spent $700,000.00 on drugs.”
Whitney: “I want to see the receipts.” *

(substitute Taxpayers for D.Sawyer / BHO for Whitney and add six zeros and then double it.)

*paraphrased but pretty close because everyone knows, drug dealers unlike Congress, keep records.

    • He’ll never apologize because he doesn’t think he’s doing anything wrong. Mamma told him he was special his whole life and here he is. He is a legend in his own mind.
