  1. I know this is OT but I am having a heck of a time finding totals of executive orders per administration (including obama’s)

    any links ?

  2. Geez, Lunch with a sitting President. Pretty lame by any standard. I’m sure he will be droppin’ those ‘g’s around the plainfolk before the first bite of his seared Lobster-stuffed Portobella mushroom appetizers.
By the very act of doing this, the President has equated what another commentor so eloquently has expressed. This Prez thinks he can kick back and nosh with the gentry for a price. Wow! I am really frankly shocked the republican candiates don’t key in on this guy’s vanity and arrogance. Romney, Newt, Rick, anybody! Use your 2 minute time answering a lowball question and just recite the last 3 days of this president’s schedule.

    • I dont get that either… Why will the Reps not call out Obama on his arrogance and out-of-touchness (?)

(hold on… Just answered that myself. Its because todays Reps are almost as arrogant and out-of-touch as Obama)

      • Yeah–I agree–they are playing into the scenario the Dems are concocting…sniping at each other…taking each other apart so the Dems don’t have to. Yes, I did it a little, too…but I am stopping.

  3. Actually a real President wouldn’t ask for a measly 3 bucks to photo sup with them. A taxpayer shouldn’t have to donate or vote for them to sit down and have a serving of crow.

  4. I guess he’s going over to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to pat himself on the back for his cool bypassing the Senate move.

  5. Isn’t using the WH to pay back those who contribute to his campaign the same as using the WH for political purposes? Even still, it just goes to show how he allocates his time. He could have met with business leaders who could have given him ideas about creating jobs. Again and again, he shows that his needs are more important than the country’s.

    • It’s as bad as when Clinton rented out the Lincoln bedroom. And he needs a constant stream of fawning to keep his ego firmly planted in the upper stratosphere.

Not even 2 hours of work. What a lazy slob we have in the WH.

      • Robin H.

Here is a quote from a past president.

“It is difficult for men in high office to avoid the malady of self-delusion. They are always surrounded by worshipers. They are constantly, and for the most part sincerely, assured of their greatness.”

        Calvin Coolidge, 30th President

    • The FEC only cares when a Republican breaks the rules. He filmed a campaign commercial for one of his “Dinner with Barack” lotteries in the Map Room of the White House and not an eyebrow was raised by the FEC.

  6. Whew – what a long day for him – poor baby. In fly over country by 12:15 we’ve already fed the cows and chickens, ran errands in town and ate dinner (lunch). And then it starts all over again by 1:00.

  7. Meeting with a bureau without a confirmed head. I “hear” the staff of the CFPB already has upwards of 700 employees. That would be 700 federal employees with perks and pensions to “protect” us.

  8. Sheesh, I was up at 5am today, made coffee and walked the dog soon afterwards. I’ve already outworked the President of the United States by 6am. What a country!

    • You left out cleaned up after one cat, one dog (the other cat is pretty neat), limped around making coffee to pry eyes open, shower, a zillion emails, what papers are left or affordable, a dozen blogs including this one, then hmmm…what can I do today to get people to giove me money… and by then it’s 7:30 AM! Running late! Remember once when The First Lady happily reported that the butlers at the WH were “sweatin.’? Well, at Chez Star, we don’t have those.
