Since he can pick his guest list, there won’t be any booing in the East Room today.
Looks like another tough day. Just what is he doing between 11:20 (I figure it would take about 10 minutes to sign the bill) and 4:25 PM except maybe having lunch. With all that open time in the schedule, why 4:25, not 4:30 for the next scheduled item?
Why didn’t he just use the autopen to sign the legislation like he did for the quickie funding extension he signed on Friday? Guess there would be no excuse for a campaign photo-op if he did that…
Too bad they couldn’t get Toby Keith to sing “Red Solo Cup” at the country music shindig. Hmmm…since it disses Freddie Mac that may not be a good idea. Then, of course, there’s the little thing about Toby’s donation to Rick Perry’s campaign. Oh well, nevermind…
