  1. One, he screwed up big time and now has to keep talking and meeting to get out of it. Second, it’s largely an international audience — and he is after all an important world figure. If he spent as much time on national issues as he does on this …. He’s in his element, with the fundraising also, and Michelle probably off shopping and hobnobbing. Happy happy. Sure, there is that little matter of Palestinian statehood, but surely no one will deny Barack Obama once he begins to speak so eloquently, so persuasively, so….words fail.

  2. Actually,if there ever was a time for one of his lecture/bash sessions it’s here. He had better do his job and get in there and smack Iran, Syria, the DPRK, Pakistan, and the biggest welfare recipients in the world the terrorist organization known as the Palestinian Authority and the absurd quest to screw us on the world stage. I surely hope we cut off funding to the tune of 600 BILLION a year to these monsters. Fatah is paying the terrorists families pensions for them being in prison, the violence and straight up bullshit has not stopped. They are still pushing their genocidal plans to pre school and up, have 2 rival governments, and still openly want this as a stepping stone to hit Israel in the ICC,and the eventual destruction of Israel.Time to cut these bums loose from the purse.I hope Israel cuts off the money as well and the PA crumbles. Then Israel annexes area’s B and C, and hands admin rights back to Jordan for A. Grant citizenship to the Arabs in B and C, and declare Gaza a autonomous Pal enclave. There will be no right of return, the whole concept is absurd anyways, they need to stay where they were born in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan (80% of the original mandate). Israel is going to be lambasted any way she moves so she might as well do whats right in her best interests, Then seal the borders, and get on with their lives as a gas exporting nation.
Then there is Iran..When do we start bombing that mess?

    • You’re right Jeff, now would be the time. Unfortunately, he doesn’t possess the nads to follow through with a strong and demanding speech. I’m afraid that we’re in store for more drivel. My only hope is that he doesn’t embarrass the U.S. too much.

  3. Lest we forget MO had her very own fundraiser last night with Gloria Steinmem. Saw a pic on Weazel Zippers and Gloria had a Tshirt on with
‘I had an abortion’ on it how crude. Yes that’s our role model First Lady and
at $38,500 a pop. She also was carring a $$2500 handbag!

    • Gloria Steinem–hmpf. She ended up getting married to some well-off guy. The First Lady has her mother to help with the kids, not to mention a staff–and she had a madeup high-paying job before and a hubs dragging down Senate pay. Real liberated. But plenty of women did blaze trails–put up with a lot–make it work, and I salute them.

  4. Why was it necessary for MO to go to NYC–is she speaking at the UN about reducing the world’s salt intake? Or is she there shopping and whining (no, that’s not a typo) and dining???
