As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Quote of the Day || July 26, 2011

“Of course I’m not pretending to be the only adult in Washington, but I do want to tell the House Republican caucus that even though mommy and daddy experimented with marijuana, this doesn’t mean they should too.”

– Barack Obama

  1. Well this is obviously not a real quote. In Dreams from My Father, then-community organizer Obama told us, “Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it.”

    • How far we have come William. I recall the public outrage when Bill Clinton admitted to experimenting with pot. Of course all was forgiven because he didn’t inhale.

      • I also remember the outrage and massive news coverage when some guy, who had no way to verify his information, claimed that George W Bush had used cocaine in college. Sure, there was nothing to back up his claim and he couldn’t produce any witnesses, but boy was it covered. This guy admitted to cocaine use in his book, and nary a peep.

  2. I think he’s still smoking something besides cigarettes. Either that or someone is spiking his pizza with ‘shrooms and he’s been hallucinating this past two years.

Either way, he’s really loosing touch with reality.

“Oh, look! A shiny new golf ball, it’s time to go play!”
