As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Gergen Calling. Again?

The organization of the White House day care program continues apace.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today confirmed that David Gergen, who entered the Clinton White House in 1993 to referee the Romper Room that was going on their at the time, was at the White House yesterday to meet with President Obama.

“I believe he was in to see some people, including the president,” Gibbs said.

Yeah, yeah, not big deal guys, OK?

As we wrote yesterday, the White House staff is undergoing some changes to provide a needed dose of maturity and consistency. Gergen was either in the house to provide some advice on such matters, or to take a job.
