President Obama will appear in the White House briefing room at 4:15 pm today to tout the successful initial public offering of General Motors’ stock today.
Obama will speak just after the markets close. He probably will not take questions. We’ll stream it if the White House takes it live.
UPDATE: A fairly haggard looking Obama – the consensus in the press room – appeared and said the auto industry is “on the rise” but has a ways to go and so on and so forth.
His battered look probably stems not just from loss of the House, but from his busy Asia trip in vastly difference time zone.
