Gibbs: No Permanent Tax Cut Extension for Wealthy

In his briefing today, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs made two things clear: extending the Bush tax cuts for those making over $250,000 is very on the table, but making them permanent is not.

    What a brilliant stategy! kick the “wealthy” to the tax curb and then go to them next year for a sizeable donation to your re-election. Drain the small businessman’s profits so that he can’t hire new employees, all the while telling him that you’re looking out for ‘small business’.
    Not to worry, the voters are stupid.
