As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Biden to Attend Fundraiser for Jackass

Vice President Biden will travel to Orlando, Fla. Monday to raise money for the Congressman from Disney World, Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson.

Biden’s appearance puts him in league with the House’s most vitriolic critic of the GOP. It’s a little difficult to square President Obama’s persistent claims that he wanted bipartisanship with the decision let Biden to jump into bed with a man who’s made the following statements:

The Republican health care plan is this: Don’t get sick, and if you do get sick, die quickly.

He then defended the comment.

I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven’t voted sooner to end this holocaust in America.

He soon afterward called Republicans:

Foot-dragging, knuckle-dragging Neanderthals.

Of the Tea Partiers, he said:

These are people who were wearing sheets over their heads 25 years ago.

Grayson also:

Wrote a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding that the federal government imprison Republican activist Angie Langley for five years because of her website criticizing him.

Falsely accused his opponent of being a draft dodger during the Vietnam War and edited video to make his rival appear to be saying the opposite of what he really said.

There must be dozens of other ways Biden could go about helping House Democrats that wouldn’t have involved taking the vice president’s office and dropping it into this particular sewer.

It’s very hard to think that the tears being shed by Obama over the death of bipartisanship are not of the crocodilian sort if he actually wants the vice president to raise cash for a man whose seething hatred for Republicans is matched only by his bounding unscrupulousness.

  1. RepGrayson’s remarks about his opponent or the Repubs are not much different from the messages coming from the WH and it’s supporters, only coarser. Attack, attack, smear, lie and ridicule are the hallmarks of the Dems 2010 campaign and VPBiden has gleefully joined the parade by parroting the agenda.

  2. 75 years ago Grayson would have been a truncheon-carrying, coffee-can hat wearing, hooked cross brownshirt in Munich. He mirrors the type of men recruited into the SS-verfugungenstruppen during the rise of the Nazi party who views *anyone* who differs from his “party” and his “leader” as the enemy.

  3. I don’t get into the Hitler thing, but this guy is brain dead and mean. Sure, go right over there, Joe–your kind of people.

Front page NYT–Obama’s playbook…yeah, this is all just a freaking game, all right.

  4. Star,

People like Grayson are true Fascists. I honestly, truly believe that with all my heart. Obama’s presidency (to me) borders on a strange brand of liberal-social fascism that breeds military followership into its adherents. The Democratic view of Obama mirrors the NSDAP view of Adolf Hitler:

    1. Our leader (fuhrer) was duly elected.
    2. Our leader has the best interests of the nation (fatherland) at heart.
    3. Those who reject our leader are the enemy.
    4. We must destroy our enemies.

From there, you’ve got the ingredients of totalitarianism.

Obviously this would NOT happen right now in this country, but Grayson dit Obama are one in the same. He spent a half decade at Harvard where he was bred a Marxist. Grayson is nothing more than a helferin-soldaten for “the leader.”

  5. This Grayson is very creepy, no doubt about it… I see potential for totalitarianism in anyone who is completely certain they are right and who has power… that’s who we have in there now… I felt this somewhat about Bush, too–when he said his marching orders were coming from God. When McCain was running, I opften opined that he would not button it up and we would still have cracks to crawl into. Not sure now.
