The president met with Apple Inc. chief Steve Jobs tonight in San Francisco to talk about the calls Obama’s new iPhone 4 has been dropping. Jobs blamed the dropped calls largely on Blackberry maker RIM. Asked by Obama if it was possible George W. Bush was at least partially at fault, Jobs responded, “probably.”
OK, here’s what Gibbs said they talked about.
They discussed American competitiveness and education, especially reforms such as the President’s Race to the Top initiative. They then talked about energy independence and ways to increase job creation.
Such a profound and unexpected interchange. Oh, oh, to have been a fly on the wall.
