Judge Puts Arizona Immigration Law on Hold

In a victory for the Obama administration, a federal judge in Phoenix disagreed with central aspects of the Arizona immigration law and put the provisions on hold.

The state will immediately appeal the ruling to a federal appeals court. It is widely expected that the matter will get to the Supreme Court.
